Nothing's better than storytime with dad..!

How odd is that you can do so many activities with your children, perfecting it all the time, but when it comes to dad, every little nothing quickly becomes something, and turns out to be the most interesting thing in the world!
I took this picture yesterday's night when my husband was reading a bedtime story to our kids. It was comical how focus they were, trying not to miss out on a single word! Their laughter must have been heard blocks away! Even I found myself laughing at my husband interpretation of the story that was otherwise somewhat boring!
Kids DO enjoy their dads!

One very good doll...!

So we got this doll from MGA Entertaintment company... What a great doll!
My daughter is 3,5 and for the past three years we went through many different dolls: baby dolls, Dora dolls, Barbie... None of them (except for Barbie) stay for long, the reason being they were too heavy and to0 difficult to pose.
Keitlin (that's the doll's name) is more of a nature girl, comparing to the others from the Best Friend Club Ink series. She's surprisingly light and very articulated, so my daughter can pose her in any way she wants. I like the hair of that doll too; it gets messy easily but you can brush it and make it look fabulous. She's very much like a "big" Barbie - she is 18" tall. She has a white underwear painted on her body which is nice, and her upper body is Barbie-like.  My daughter loves her!
I really like her wide-eyed open facial expression.

Royal Botanical Gardens

On Sunday afternoon, I took my two kids to Royal Botanical Gardens. What a beautiful place! Even if it wasn't much of anything like for little children, we all enjoyed it! What was that I liked the most? Peace. It was sooo relaxing, but not in the boring kind of way, no no. It was fun, but it wasn't crowded like other places tend to be, especially on Sundays' afternoons. I guess, this gave me the feeling of inner peace. :)) We came back home tired, but happy.

About me

Hi, I am a mom of two beautiful and smart children (in the ages of 7 and 3), who happens to be a graphic designer.
I like good stuff and like to write about it! As a mom I am very concern about quality of products we use at home. I also like to find out new things that make my life as mom easier.
I like traveling and visiting new places. But most of all I am proud to be a mom and this is what makes me really happy!
